What the server runs

  • Hunts

    Pick the behemoth, board the airship and hunt alone or in a party of up to 4 Slayers.

    Behemoths back to back on a single-element island, with the danger rising every round.

    The week's hardest behemoth, with normalised gear and a hall of champions.

  • Guilds and the Gauntlet

    Start or join a guild and compete in the Gauntlet with it every season.

    Every hunt moves the pass forward and unlocks each level's rewards.

    The Slayers' city: meet other players, form your party and get ready for the next hunt.

A shattered world, full of aether

A cataclysm broke the world into islands that float in the sky. Aether wells up from them, and the behemoths feed on it: huge beasts that threaten everything that is left.

The Slayers set out from Ramsgate to hunt them. Every behemoth you bring down gives the parts to forge weapons and armour with its power, and every hunt readies you for a bigger beast.

Switch weapons whenever you like: your gear is yours, not a class's.

    Fast and versatile, a good first pick.

  • Axe

    Heavy blows and spins that cover a wide area.

  • Hammer

    Stunning impact and point-blank blasts.

  • War Pike

    Reach, defence and an aether cannon at the tip.

  • Chain Blades

    Mobility and attacks that pull you in close.

  • Repeaters

    Ranged fire, for hunting from a distance.

  • Aether Strikers

    Quick punches and combos that never stop.

How to start

  1. Install the launcherRun the downloaded file. It installs the Dauntless Launcher for your Windows user only, without asking for administrator rights, and adds a desktop shortcut.
  2. Create your account and install the gameOpen the launcher, create your account and click Install game. It downloads Dauntless 1.14.7 (about 16 GB) from Epic's public servers and checks every file. You can pause and continue later. Already have the game? Use Locate existing installation.
  3. PlayOnce the game is installed, click Play. The launcher keeps itself up to date.
